Ishmael blog 5- QQC #3

Quote:"What you should understand is that saying yes to life and accepting the knowledge of good and evil are merely different aspects of a single act,and this is the way the story is told in Genesis."

Question:Does it necessarily make you a taker if you want a big family, isn't it our right?

Comment:I think what Ishmael is saying about the story of Adam and Eve being the beginning of the takers is true. The story basically says that man disobeyed God because they wanted to have ultimate power and make decisions of which man lived and which died and over how many people came into the world.I think that it was ironic how the Eves name meant life which i didn't know.Life was what man was tempted by and what they wanted power over. Like now a days I hear people say that they want a big family all the time but I guess they don't realize that there are kids who can be adopted from third world countries. When they adopt from another country they are saving a kid from possible starvation and helping prevent over population.

Interview

I decided to interview my cousin and ask him if he thought the world needed saving.I was planning to ask my mom or my dad but it was no good use asking them since I already knew what their answer was going to be. My cousin and I don't really talk about these kind of topics so I thought it would be good to interview him to see what his answer would be. At first he didn't want to do it but then I said please like a million times then he finally said yes.

me:Do you think the world needs to be saved?
him:If you mean in the way of pollution and global warming then yes. We have done many things that have hurt our Earth.

me:What are things that we have done that have hurt our Earth?
him:We depend on cars way to much.I mean i understand we need it to get to places like work or school if its faraway but some people drive to like the store when it's only like a block away.

me:What do you think people can do to help the Earth?
him:Well they can ride bikes or walk to the store to wherever people need to go. They can turn off lights in the house when their not being used. You can recycle bottles and receive money for it.You could plant a tree or do a beach clean up.

me:What have you done that helps the environment?
him:Well just recently at school we had a beach clean up and all the class was able to participate. It was fun because after wards we were able to go into the water then we made hot dogs.

me:Sounds like fun. What is something else you have done?
him:Well once I got twenty dollars for collecting bottles and cans.So both the Earth and me got something good out of it.

QQC #2 Ishmael

Quote:The story the leavers have enacted in the world has an entirely different premise, and it would impossible for you to discover it as this point.

Question:Does the gorilla think that the world was made for man?

Comment:I think Ishmael asks really hard questions that make you think twice. I think that the Earth was created for every living thing. But when it comes to us wanting to build new houses at the risk of possibly destroying a living thing I would say yes to building the houses. If I had the choice between saving a dog or a human of course I would choose the human. Then again in order for humans to live the life the way that we do right now it wouldn't be the same without animals. People wouldn't have their pets or we wouldn't be able to eat Carne Asada. The world was meant for all living things its like the circle of life.

The story of Man:Ishmael

The story of how life began is The story of Adam and eve. The story goes that God created Adam in the Garden of Eden. Adam was lonely so he created Eve from one of the ribs of Adam. God told them that they could eat from any of the trees except for the tree of knowledge of good and evil. A snake which was really lusepher convinced Eve to eat a fruit from the tree. Eve felt guilty for eating the fruit. She shared the fruit with Adam. They both knew that what they had done was bad. God punished them and said that they had to leave the Garden of Eden and that life would no longer come easy for them.

Priscilla Montes

Question:Is the gorilla actually talking to her or is he talking to her through his eyes?

Quote:With Man Gone,Will There Be Hope For Gorilla?

Comment:The story is very interesting because what I'm wondering is whether the gorilla is really talking to her or is he doing it with his eyes. The quote that i chose is interesting because it can be seen in many different ways. It can mean that if humans become extinct then gorillas won't survive. But it can also be seen as if humans were extinct gorillas would be better off because then they would be able to survive.I also was wondering why the gorilla had the sign up for, but in order to know why he had the sign up we have to know what it really means. The story so far is interesting and I can't wait to find out whats with the gorilla.
